Leeds United: The Club and its Fans

To commemorate the 100th-anniversary of Leeds United Football Club, our Local and Family History Librarians created four pull-up banners telling the club’s story through books and other resources held at the Central Library. These banners have been on display since October, but are set to be replaced with a new exhibition soon. The Secret Library will be publishing the full text and accompanying images of the LUFC banners over the next few months, however, to ensure the content is preserved and accessible for the whole community. This week, we present the third: a potted history of the Club and its fans. Click on the image below to zoom in. To access any of the titles mentioned here, contact the department on 0113 37 86982 or via localandfamilyhistory@leeds.gov.uk.
